All you need to do to change character appearance in Bannerlord is to press the “V” key on your keyboard. This will open the character customization menu you saw when you first started the game. Now you can change every little aspect of your character, such as height, face, hair, and even weight. Since this is the exact customizer from the i prefer smithing with companions and not with the main char. Its a waste of skill points to train it with the main char. technically there are cheats for that - but this specific one will reset all your skill-levels to 0 aswell. You can always smelt down Thamakane weapons for it. I think Sturgians tend to have them. You can skip the tutorial at the very beginning, that's what I did and then I just got the quest for that Idol where I have to ask 10 lords about it and got plopped into the world. I don't know if there are any other points where you can skip it past that point though. That 10 lords quest is worse than the tutorial. It should be skippable. This was the 1st time using a companion for a quest, was the only one on a quest and had not hired any others while they were on it. Try to create party with companion lost in Ain Baliq. Companion will to reappear in the town he was trully located in. Tell everyone about this. I'll just have to remember not to take family members into my party before I have a fief to set them as a governor in the future.
